Thanks to a friend of this site, a plethora of screen grabs and some other media has been provided to me so that I can share it with fans of Scrapheap Challenge & Junkyard Wars.

The title was simply 'Scrapheap' & the host was Sally Gray. Voiceovers were done by a different, off-camera person.  Two teams (of 5 people) had to build a hovercraft with no experts per se. They had from sunrise to sunset to complete their machine (just over 10 and-a-half hours) and they raced it afterwards.

The teams were thrown together in such a way to cause some conflict between members. Such choice lines uttered toward other teammates include "I'm looking for scrap, get off my back.", "Idiot!" and "We decided he deserved to die."

HERE is a recap of the pilot episode.

The scrapheap was literally huge

The set was very simplistic.  A single
