The stars of the Discovery Channel sing "Boom De Yada"

( 0 / 0 )This is the cat's idea of "camouflage"
He's keeping a close eye on some hungry Cedar Wax-wings. They flew away before I could get a pic of them (about a dozen) sitting the tree watching the cat watch them.
See, it's kinda like this picture which "claims" to have the CN Tower

Now, I have started intently...for hours...at that pic and I'll be damned if I can find the CN Tower.

( 0 / 0 )I'm contemplating redesigning the front end of this site for the 3rd time since I opened it in 2005.
I like the "Solari board" theme but I had one neat idea floating in my head...then a second idea came to me.
I'm not sure which idea I like better. I imagine I'll do them both then decide once the final product is done. I'd consider showing them to a select few people for some feed back before unleashing one on an unsuspecting internets. Muahahaha.
Ahem.
Yes, at *looks at clock* 11:03PM on a Saturday night, this is what I'm concerning myself with.

( 3 / 10 )From time to time, I like to mention cool stuff I've run across and this is by far one of the coolest browser add-ons...ever.
It's called PicLens CLICK and it's a different way of displaying pics from various sites.
The plug in takes every pic on a page (or from a photoset if you're using Flickr or Photobucket, for example) and displays it on a three-tiered "video wall." You can click on the pic you want a closer view of, zoom in and zoom out, scroll...it's pretty sweet.
What's nice too is if you do a Google Image Search for porn...er...lolcats (for example) it will continually load in all of the results meaning you can scan many many pics in less time.
I know I've spent (wasted, really) a lot of time looking for backgrounds for websites (or my own desktop) clicking through page after page of a GIS, looking at 20 (or so) pics at a time. Now I can scan thousands in mere minutes.
I know my description can't do it justice so hit up their site for a demo. I guarantee it looks exactly the same in use as the demo shows.
Bonus...you don't even need to run Firefox (which I'm using) as it'll work on Safari, even IE.
